Study On Ideological And Political Educational Of Poor Students In College Under "Five-in-One" System

The new characteristics of poor students revealed from thought, mental state andbehavior, and special requirement of ideological and political education determinethat IPE of poor students in college need new theory and methodology,but notborrow a theoretical system and applied methods of a normal working model.At present, contradictory duality of poor students in thought, mental state andbehavior are increasing remarkably, shown as reasonable consumption demand versusembarrassment of reality; upholding loft ideal versus adopting vulgar-orientation;independent and self-esteem versus sensitive and self-abasements; pursuingexcellence versus lack of motivation in study; great ambition versus poor capability incareer. Lack comprehension of the new characteristics of poor students, theideological and political education of them become insufficientpertinence,effectiveness and systematics obviously. In one word, this problem isembodied in over-simplified financial aid, massed guides of values, generalizedpsychological counseling, formalized study help, short-term effected employmentsupport system.On this ground, the IPE of poor students in college should gear with the essentialcharacteristics and main problems of this group, in order to fulfill the innovationabout model and guideline in this field. Education of innovation is about to stick tostudent-oriented principle, fully respect students, deeply understand thecharacteristics of poor students, and combine the salvation of ideology problem withthat of practical problem. Innovative model of IPE is to implement “five-in-one”system: Firstly, to better poor students’ live based on financial aid; secondly, toprovide spiritual assistance and increase their self-esteem; thirdly, to build up healthypsychology by mental help; fourthly, increase their capability with tutorship; fifthly,promote the sustainable development of students relying on employment help.
