Colleges And Universities Under The Educational Equality Poor Students In The Ideological And Political Education

In recent years,with the development of education in China,the contradiction betweenthe need of education and the short supply of it occurs. So now all the people are paying moreand more attention to the education equity that plays an extremely important role for thestable development of the whole education course in our country. As one part of the wholeeducation equity problems,the problems of poor college students need to be resolvedurgently.According to the analysis of the poor college students'material and spiritual life, thepaper finds out that the resolution of the problems from poor college students needs to becooperated with sufficient ideological and political education. However, there are variousproblems in the process of ideological and political education in colleges. As a separate group,the poor college students have serious problems that have increased the difficulty of educationequity and make the college educational work more difficult and challengeable. So we shouldknow the importance of the ideological and political education on the poor college students aswell as the important role of such education plays in the whole work in colleges. Because it isthe premise in order to resolve the problems from the poor college students.After extensive researches and investigations, the author finds that the poor collegestudents have various mental or spiritual problems, such as inferiority, anxiety and lack ofpositive views on life, society and values. But the ideological and political education on themis not sufficient: firstly, the educators have not paid enough attention to the ideological andpolitical education on the poor college students; secondly, the methods of the ideologicaleducation do not cater to the needs of the college students while the psychological educationis neglected; what's more, the educators and students can not emotionally cooperate with eachother; besides that, they just help the students with material but do not know the importanceof ideological and moral education.In order to resolve such problems, the paper proposes some feasible strategies. At first,we must strengthen the ideological and political education on the poor college students; secondly, establish the"student-oriented"education concept and combine the resolution of thepoor students'ideological problems with that of factual problems; thirdly, motivate the poorstudents emotionally and shift the unfavorable factors into favorable factors; then, strengthenthe psychological health education and self-awareness education, so that we can promote thehealthy development of student's personality; besides that, in whole the process ofadministrational work, the head teachers and instructors should play their important assistantrole for the ideological and political education on the poor college students. In the end, thepaper proposes that it is greatly meaningful to concern about the poor college students and tostrengthen the ideological and political education on them.
