Professional competence is an important feature of the new teachers, this is a sign of the teachers’comprehensive quality, early childhood teacher’s education must have a professional capacity. Along with the development of social and implementation of the new curriculum of basic education, and early childhood teachers’ professional standards will be published, on preschool teachers’professional competence put forward new demands. The major undergraduate course of preschool education in higher normal schools in the wave of reform, has been turned its training objectives for kindergarten teacher. But the preschool teachers we have been trained felt disoriented when they in the face of actual children education activities, they need to spent more time to adapt the work. In order to improve the adaptability of teachers, shorten the time to adapt to the job, and provide high-quality preschool teachers to kindergarten. This study considered to be the ability of training in higher normal schools is an urgent issue to study and explore. Focusing on this issue, this research fulfilled the following tasks:Firstly, we sort out literature discussion and grooming on the structure of kindergarten teachers’professional competence at home and abroad, pre-service training of teachers’ ability; focusing on theoretical basis of preschool teachers’ training and the new requirements of new curriculum on teacher’s professional competence, according to the relevant national policies and requirements construction of teacher’s professional, and construction of teacher’s professional competence framework that including:basic arts skill, instructional design and teaching implementation ability, the support and guidance for children’s game, environment creation and use, motivation and evaluation, the childcare and organization in daily life, communication and cooperation, reflection and development. Secondly, carry on the analysis of undergraduate professional ability training of pre-school education program, and according to the frame structure of teachers’ professional competence, by using the method of references, questionnaires, and supplemented with interview, then analyze and discuss the new teachers’professional competence, which can be a realistic basis for the training of teachers’ professional competence in higher normal schools. Focusing on the investigation, found that the development of teachers’professional competence imbalances, and constantly enhance the ability with the practical experience in the kindergarten.Thirdly, through the analysis of the training program in the current Normal College, and the interview of teacher, we knew the defects, for example, training target is not clear and is not highlighting the major features; curriculum is not reasonable which could not realize the goal of teachers’professional competence; the teaching methods a single, rigid, cannot achieve the purpose of ability training; lack of practical form and teachers’ professional guidance; and few tools to examination the abilityFinally, the cultivation of the professional ability of undergraduate majored in preschool education is not an overnight success, this is a step-by-step process, which need the national policy support. This study based on characteristics of teachers’professional development, giving song advise, such as:clear the training target and outstanding normal characteristics; to adjust the curricular content and supports formation of professional competence; change the teaching methods and strengthening the practice of professional competence; pay attention to the diversity of practice education, and employ multiple strategies to enhance the ability; strengthen the assessment of ability and so on.
