Under the curriculum standardization wave in USA, the MST Integrated Curriculum has been found in the framework of school education in New York. It means that a mutual support co-operative relationship should be established among the three separate and different disciplines of mathematics science and technology. Basically, the MST curriculum resources at home and abroad show us three typical modes of the structure:Linked Mod,Combined Mode and Integrated Mode. According to the curriculum idea of MST, this thesis has shown some education activities to reflect the essence of mathematics, as well as to make the maths more effective.First and foremost, learning from the theory of curriculum integration and the problem solving theory, as well as combining with the essential features of mathematics, we have proposed some basal strategies to design the education activity of MST. Moreover, based on the general features of MST education activity, we have designed three education activities, such as Determining Functions Using Regression, Circle Packing and Shedding light on the Subject.In the next place, we have described the three education activities in detail, as explained below. The first stage is what teachers and students should prepare before starting the education activities. In the second stage, some instances of the teaching have been shown to explore what the teachers should do to engage the students in the MST education activity positively. For stage three, some practical experiences have been exposited to make the MST education activity more effective. The last but not least, a great deal of basal points have been expressed to assess the MST education activity.After carrying out some investigations and researches, we have come to some conclusions.First of all, it is feasible to implement the MST education activity in high school in china. In addition, to design the MST education activity, with the problem solving oriented, is in the student’s favor to put the knowledge into practice in an integrated manner. At last, the three teaching examples mentioned in this thesis provide the high-quality models for teachers to carry out the MST education activity.Developing the MST education activity has a large quantity of meaning for us.it offers us a new mode to integrate the mathematics curriculum, a brand-new terrace to explore the elective course based on school, a firenew train of thought to understand the essence of mathematics from the different points of view in other disciplines, a innovative method to improve the comprehensive talent and ability of the students.
