Countryside Population Transnational Migration And Its Economic Response

Man is the creator of the culture, and also is the carrier of culture. The relationship between population development and geographical environment is always the focus and hot spots of Human Geography. Under the action of the regional environment, the new overseas migrants in Shaxi show the different characteristics and impacts from the Inshore Rural Areas. Based on field survey materials, and under the guidance of such related theories as geography, sociology, demography etc., this article combined the macroscopic review and case study, and focused on how the new overseas migrants started, developed, and also discussed what economy and cultural ecology affect it brought.The article shows the following results. First, after reforming and opening, the generation of new overseas migrants in the village is the result of both internal and external factors, throughout the migration process, the population structure in each stage has its obvious feature. Second, since the new overseas migrants begins, changes has taken place in the regional social and economic environment, these changes had a fundamental influence on the old Shaxi Village economic changes. Third, the new overseas migrants made the loss of rural labor, and then rural-rural migration has come into view in this region as well, all of these made the transfer of agricultural land in this village have its unique development path and operational characteristics. Fourth, the new overseas migrants occurred under the special cultural backgrounds of Shaxi village; on the other hand, this phenomenon played a irreplaceable role in the change of cultural ecology in Shaxi village.
