Rowing requires speed, endurance and techniques. A certain training session is usually long and it may be affected by the environment. Classification of rowing such as gender, weight and pedal (which includes singular and dual ones) causes the different characteristics in the training methods of the different genders, classes and pedal rowers. This paper includes researches and interventions to the players in mention. The researches and the interventions are the two core contents of this paper. The researches are served as the methods of acquainting the situation while the interventions are meant to be the strategies for improving the deficiencies appeared before. Measurements and visitations to the professionals are the basis, while the analyses were taken to solve the problems found in the above.Aims:According to the survey of the players’fitness quality, acquainting the morphological fitness, physical drives and health situation of the players. Advices are given to them according to the above researches. Methods:The data are collected by measuring the morphological indicators, physical fitness and bodily functions rowing skills and injuries of rowers, and otherwise interview with the athletes and their coaches. Photos and videos were recorded to inquiry the morphological characteristics and rowing technical characteristics. Results:The fitness level has been professionalized in general. Their bodies are strong and their four limbs are thin and long while their fat takes low ratio in their body composition (Man heavyweight and lightweight height, weight and F%are respectively193.79±2.76cm,188.27±3.05cm,85.25±5.57kg,68.36±3.12kg,11.6±0.02and8.2±0.6. Woman heavyweight and lightweight height, weight and F%are respectively179.53±2.41cm,175.42±2.41cm,72.4±4.8kg,57.8±1.6kg,15.0±3.0and9.1±1.4.). The cardiovascular function and the metabolic ability of their muscles are also strong. The maximum power and the endurance level are high among them, but some players may have the power, balance stability, flexibility and coordinate problems, etc.2) The differences are found among the rowing players in their training years, genders, and classes. These factors may affect the fitness and techniques of rowing. The fitness level of the women is negative compared with other groups, due to the low lean muscle and high fat ratio. Man heavyweight and lightweight, woman heavyweight and lightweight’s fat amount are9.9±2.2kg,,5.6±0.5kg,10.92±2.73kg,5.28±0.88kg.3) The percentage of the number of the rowing players, who has medical treatments before, is66.7%. It is the main cause of hampering the competitive capability and training. The clinic treatments to players with5years’ training are more often than the players with less than five years.CONCLUSIONS:1) Morphological fitness, physical drives and health situation have been “professionalized”. The adaption to the rowing can be explained as the results of professional training. However, such professionalization has broken the balance of the players’body which may cause the illness and downgrading of the resistant system and hamper the training plan and their participation of regular competitions.2) The training methods and the training-medicine-research system should be reformed, with the purpose of upgrading the training, minimizing the invaliding and giving insurance to the continuous development of the training.
