Rowing is a tough, fighting and racing match, for the characteristics of the rowing, The fitness is the basic and important ability for rowing athletes. In this study, we combined S-E-T training with the special movement of rowing focus on strength training. The experiment may increse the strength of athletes, especially core strength through the stimulation of S-E-T training hoping to discover a new methods for the the rowing special training.In this paper, I got the topic of this thesis from literature date, I confirm the research index and basis using expert interviews and questionnaire survey method. I use mathematieal statisties to analyze the data, The main meathod is experimental researeh, This artiele’s subjects are eight excellent rowing athletes of Beijing team. Throughing10weeks of tracking training and testing, control of experimental conditions, Reflecting rowing athletes’s movement controlling ability of eight indicators and four auxiliary indicators for testing, Obtained data and statistical analysis, the following conclusions are:1After the experiment the core strength of the left and right side and core stability of the test object were significantly increased compared with the experiment before.2S-E-T training can significantly improve the average pulling force. After the experiment the verage pulling force of the left and right side of the test object were significantly increased compared with the experiment before. But S-E-T training doesn’t work on the force of kicking.3S-E-T training can significantly improve the speed of pulling and paddling.After the experiment the speed of pulling and paddling of the test object were significantly increased compared with the experiment before. 4S-E-T training can significantly improve the distance of each stroke for rowing and rowing machine. After the experiment the distance of each stroke for rowing and rowing machine of the test object were significantly increased compared with the experiment before. S-E-T training can also significantly improve the distance throwing back medicine ball. After the experiment the dthrowing back medicine ball of the test object were significantly increased compared with the experiment before.
