China’s non-profit sports organizations’development started much later in comparison with first world countries but experienced a rapid growth soon after the reform. With more and more support from the public and the government, non-profit sports organizations were able to gain a lot of strength and influence. Football’s development is inseparable from the support given by the general public. The development of non-profit football leagues in Beijing was made much easier because of the already existing non-profit sports organizations. There are many non-profit football leagues in Beijing, but there are uneven levels of development in these leagues. Two example leagues would be "Beijing Hui long guan Premier League," referred to as "Hui Chao" and "Beijing Korean Football League," referred to as "Korean League". After using literary references, questionnaires, interviews, statistics, logical analysis and participant observation on the "Hui Chao" and "Korean league," as well as giving surveys and interviews to the athletes in the league an conclusion was made:1."Hui Chao" and "Korean League" are both non-profit, beneficial to public, opened to public and non-governmental social autonomous sports bodies;2. Through statistical analysis of the results of the questionnaire and surveys, the key reasons of development in non-profit football league are divided into four categories:first is the characteristics of the athletes, summarizing the major characteristics of athletes in the league.3. The second category is security and regulations which includes:referees, securities, the league’s discipline and regulation, human resources, financial sponsorship and game field, all of these factors contribute the most in the development of non-profit football leagues;4. The third category is atmosphere, which includes:the league’s overall development goals, the athletes, the relationship between athletes and the feelings the athletes have for the league, such as satisfaction, motivation and other crucial elements in competition, all of the above provides a general view on the atmosphere of the league which is also essential to the leagues development;5. The fourth category is the organization and management provided by the league, which includes the league committee’s rules, organization and management;6. Non-profit football leagues’ development should happen according to their own characteristics, to better serve football fans with constant improvement in its matches.Factor in the development of the non-profit football leagues should always be connected to its core characteristics. The development plans should be made use the athletes as seeds, fans as water and the league as soil in order to grow the league into a mighty tree.
