Postgraduate education is the highest level of higher education, and the qualityof the postgraduate relate to the success or failure of the socialist modernization. Thepostgraduate ideological and political education is the most weak of the postgraduateeducation. Improving the effectiveness of the postgraduate ideological and politicaleducation becomes a new issue to the ideological and political educator.Based Guangxi province and outlooks for the whole nation, the article researchthe measure to improve the effectiveness of the postgraduate ideological andpolitical education, with the point cut of postgraduate ideological and politicaleducation effectiveness. Taking universities in Guangxi forexample, the article analyze and summarize the ideological and political situation ofpostgraduate in Guangxi, thronging actual investigation. In a word, the mainstreamideology of postgraduate is positive; meanwhile some postgraduate are politicalbeliefs weakening, moral desalination, value diversity, psychological problemincreasingly axon and the ideological and political course are unappeasable to thepostgraduate. The article analyses the reasons which influence the effectivenessfrom the essential of the ideological and political, and make suggestions to improvethe effectiveness of the postgraduate ideological and political education accordingly.Researching the effectiveness of the postgraduate ideological and politicaleducation has theoretical and practical significance.
