The thesis took the curricular reading behavior of senior high school students of three levels as researching objective. Firstly, it made introduction to the research design, then discussed the various aspects concerning the theories on reading behavior. It studied the contents of reading behavior in the category of motivation, habits, places, methods and strategies. It proposed the existing problems and analyzed the influential factors on the basis of thoroughly study. Aiming at the problems ahead, it presented the necessity and feasibility of reading instruction and worked out the guiding ideas and principles. After that, the author carried out the guidance in the perspective of interest cultivation, motivation changes, good reading habits, bibliographic selection and reading strategies. The lack of research was demonstrated at last.
