Reading instruction is the most important part of Chinese course in senior high school.Nowadays,many high school Chinese teachers ignore the subject status of students in the course of reading instruction,thus forming the phenomenon that the teacher is hard to teach,the students are tired of learning,but the reading ability is low.Therefore,high school Chinese teachers need to reflect on their own reading teaching,update teaching ideas,mobilize students' enthusiasm for reading and study,and build a new model of efficient Chinese reading instruction in high schools.The student-based theory of Professor Guo Sile emphasizes that students are the foundation of teaching,and teachers should design teaching for students to study easily.According to the student-based theory,Chinese reading instruction in senior high school can adopt the mode of combination of classroom learning and extracurricular reading.The students have the talent of reading.The teacher led the students to read by themselves,as the shepherd led the sheep to pasture.Under the guidance of the teacher,students become the masters of reading and learning.This model has important theoretical and practical significance.This thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction describes the purpose of the study,the research ideas,and discriminates the main concepts of senior high school reading instruction and the student-based theory.The first chapter is the analysis of the current situation of reading teaching.Through the questionnaire survey,this thesis finds some problems existing in the current reading teaching and analyzes the reasons.The second chapter is the method of reading instruction in class.According to the student-based theory,the teacher holds four links such as pre job,group communication,achievements display and evaluation incentive.The four links are closely linked to form a complete and reasonable reading class system.There are teaching cases and analysis in each section.The third chapter is the method of extracurricular reading instruction.According to the student-based theory,the teacher stimulates the interest of the extracurricular reading,and uses in class reading to drive the extracurricular reading,guides the reading with the content that has been read.In addition,online reading can enrich students' lives and broaden their horizons.Therefore,Chinese teachers should instruction the students to do extensive reading on the internet.The conclusion summarizes the significance of the study,points out some problems found in the study and the direction to be made in the future.Under the guidance of the student-based theory,the thesis explores the method of Chinese reading instruction in senior high school,hoping to find a way suitable for the development of students' reading ability.
