In terms of the English teaching in Senior High Middle School,the Englishteachers failed to pay much attention to English writing. Some teachers just give themodel writing after each monthly exam;some teachers prefer to ask their students torecite some model writings. It’s true that it works to some degree. And it’s a commonphenomenon now. Reciting,in the history of language learning, is really a traditionalway. But this method has it’s shorting comings. The students’ inspiration and creativitywill be ruined. According to this serious problem, this paper aims at the research of theapplication of Interest-arousing in English writing class and aims to let the students notto be afraid of English writing, or even love writing.Based on the contrastive analysis and with the help of concrete Interest-arousingEnglish writing cases, this paper explains how to carry out Interest-arousing writingskills. What’s more, it shows the advantages of Interest-arousing skills over thetraditional writing skills. Finally, the conclusion shows that the study ofInterest-arousing writing skills are better than the traditional ones for you can get amore fruitful result.Compared with the traditional writing skills, this paper aims to introduceInterest-arousing methods in order to get students into the habit of English writing. Andit’s good for cultivating their English writing and their creativity.
