Multi-touch gesture has applied in commercial area successfully."Study on the Application and Design of Multi-touch Gesture in Education" aims at putting multi-touch gestures application into education for providing a more natural, direct, multiple interactive way for education. It could improve the efficiency of education, and promote education informatization."Study on the Application and Design of Multi-touch Gesture in Education" first researches the application of multi-touch gesture in education and the design of multi-touch educational gesture. This study solves the following problem:first, looks application prospects of multi-touch gestures in the field of education and summarizes up the advantages and disadvantages of the multi-touch gesture’s by analyzing of many literatures. Second, summarizes up the gesture’feature and function, which used in the commercial gesture library and multi-touch whiteboard, and summarizes up multi-touch gestures which can be applied into education directly by interview&survey. Third, summarizes up gesture habits of teachers and students by multi-touch gesture test. Forth, develops educational gesture design specifications, designs multi-touch educational gestures, establishes a multi-touch educational gesture set.The innovation of this study is the first study on the application and design of multi-touch gesture from the perspective of education. It establishes a multi-touch educational gesture set, promotes the application of multi-touch technology in education and education informatization.
