As the logistics industry plays an increasingly more important role in the social economy,many colleges and vocational schools in China have held the program of logistics.However,the education of logistics at the current stage has mainly focused on the theoretical knowledge.Without sufficient chances to apply theory to practice,many students can not gain a comprehensive view of the logistics industry.Hence,the teaching of logistics has been out of step with the development tendency of the logistic industry.Due to the lack of a practical and well-designed teaching simulation platform,those students have much difficulty in understanding the whole operation process in the logistics enterprise,thus failing to satisfy the requirement for the enterprise development.Therefore,it is quite necessary to design and realize an experimental platform and system for the logistics teaching which can enable those students to better comprehend the work process in the logistics enterprise,deepen the understanding of the logistic environment as well as meet the requirement of logistics informatization through the simulation practice.This paper performs study and development for electronic sand table system in logistics simulation of teaching experiment,and mainly does the work of the following respects.(1)Design for overall framework of sand tableThrough the study of existing technology and combined with the demand analysis of logistics teaching,this paper designs technical architecture and functional architecture of sand table.(2)Design for business model and data model of sand tableThis paper analyzes and establishes the models of three kinds of logistics service modules,including warehousing,transportation and distribution.It has designed the business processes of the seven work sub-modules,including transportation scheduling,loading and unloading,warehouse layout,inspection of goods,packing of goods,storage classification,outbound classification and so on.It also has designed the related data model.(3)Realization of sand table systemThis paper puts forward the solution for overall design of sand table,and has carried out the system test,especially it has conducted confrontation performance test and improved the design for multiple sand table.Firstly,this paper introduces the study background and conducts reviewed analysis based on the related literature of the interactive touch logistics sand table,which points out the deficiency of the existing study.And then,it conducts detailed analysis for demands of logistics sand table business,and puts forward system architecture proposal which is suitable for teaching experiment environment.Then it designs the system business model and data model.Finally,it implements performance test,and shows the sand table entities and their effects by examples.
