Study On The Back Court Attack Tactics And Technique Innovation Of The Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team

In2010, as the host of the FIVB World Grand Prix, the Chinese women volleyball team won the4th place with great difficulty. In2011, they obtained their valuable access directly to the Olympic Games in London. People in China hold high expectation on the team, which they should make great effort to live up to. The volleyball team was so gloriously successful in the past five years while today they struggle so much in every game, which shows the serious problems and shortcomings in their technique and tactics. The main purpose of this paper is to find out the characteristic of the back court attack as well as the problems so as to promote a new tactics for the Chinese women volleyball team.The paper uses the method of literature, expert interviews, video statistics, mathematical statistics and logical analysis to observe the video of the2010FIVB World Grand Prix and the2011FIVB World Cup. Analyzing the frequency of the before and back court attack frequency, the regional characteristics of the back court attack, point of descent, effect, score, the using state and the application of the back court attack, the paper summarized the back court attack characteristics of Chinese women volley team. Through the contrast with foreign women volleyball team, the author finds out the deficiencies of the Chinese women’s volleyball back court attack and creates new tactics. The conclusions are as follows: Statictics from the eight games anlyzed in the paper show that, as for Chinese women volleyball team, the number of their back court attack is too small, far less than the foreign team; the Chinese back court attack mainly takes place in the2nd and3rd area, which is almost the same as foreign teams;the point of descent mainly distributes in the3rd area, and less frequently in2nd and4th area; Chinese women’s volleyball team scored much lower than foreign teams, whether it is a comparable level of Japan or Thai land with a certain distance in the level; The low scoring rate also indirectly illustrates the bad effect of the back court attack of Chinese women volleyball team. As for blocks from the back court players the effect is much better than that of Brazil and the German team. Analyzing the using state of back court attack, due to the bad quality of first pass, the back court attacks are more organized passively, which is far less effective than organized actively. Moreover what is worth mentioning is that Chinese team organized quite well in its first back court attack, with a high success rate of100%. Accordng to the characteristic of our back court attack, we should promote our technique innovation, organizing more back court attack in the1st area as well as double back court attack, which is rarely used in foreign countries.
