This paper focuses on improving review efficiency based on metacognitive strategy by combining theory and practice. Based on knowledge on metacognitive theory and in response to review statusquo of domestic math teaching and bottleneck issues concerningreview, the author expects that the metacognitive strategy is capableof providing theoretical support and practical guidance on improving status quo of students encountering review dilemma; besides, based onit, the practical trial is conducted.Major research methods used in this paper include literatureresearch, action research, questionnaire, experience summary andcase study; this paper mainly researches the math review lessons of thejunior middle school in several recent years; this paper features anempirical study based on the practical math teaching in themunicipal’s junior middle school and metacognitive theory, takingmath review lessons as carrier and cases as main research object.This paper has the following research orientations:Metacognitive strategy-based research on math reflection abilitycultivation;Metacognitive strategy and research on math issues resolution;Metacognitive strategy and research on review methodsapplication。This research’s deficiency and the future improvements:This research concludes efficient metacognitive theory-basedreview strategy; however, the evaluation on strategy is not involved;meanwhile, how to highlight efficiency and other related issues dependon implementers’ personal perception and summary and extraction;Although the study efficiency and scores improve for the students intrial class concerning this research, the situation-reserving progress is not made yet; the further reflection and study is necessary;During the practice and study process on exploring efficiency ofreview lesson strategy for junior middle school, how to improve studentsmetacognitive level on resolving review issues and related issues withinthe psychology scope are not streamlined yet, which deservesattention in the future in-depth research...
