At present, how to improve the students English level, arouse theirinterest in learning English, has become the most important part of ourcountry in the English teaching reform. The theory of constructivism hasbeen used as the reform of education and teaching theory. Based onConstructivism Theory in high school reading application as theresearch object, this paper discusses the application of constructivisttheory model, and the application process the core ideas, basicapproach, the problem such as the means. Through empirical research,validation of Constructivism theory can guide the underlyingassumptions of the middle school English reading courses. And it findsthe application of specific measures. According to the above researchon application practice, this paper summarizes the theory ofConstructivism in English Reading Teaching in senior high schoolexperience, lessons, and put forward corresponding countermeasures,suggestions to improve the effect of the application of constructivism insenior high school English reading teaching.In the analysis of the constructivist theories analysis, the authorconclude: constructivism theory pays great attention to the studentcentered idea, abandon the teachers, books for teaching subjectconcept. In the teaching and learning environment, learners usestwo-way interactive process inner experience knowledge and externalknowledge conversion, fusion and absorption, transformation. Inconstructivist learning environments, teachers should abandon the "spoon-feeding" teaching method, according to the guide, help ways tohelp learners gradually build, perfect, form their own knowledgestructure, guide the students to form their own a complete knowledgeprocessing and conversion, updated channel approach. At the sametime, the teacher and the students, between students and students of knowledge absorption, transformation and transformation is thefavorable environment, communication, exchange and mutualcooperation in mutual build their knowledge system.Through to the senior high school English reading teaching theory ofConstructivism in English study, the author concludes the theory ofConstructivism can improve high school English reading teachingefficiency, stimulate students reading motivation, reading to createinteractive learning environment and to construct for learners brainreading materials related situations. And according to the conclusion,the author puts forward the English Reading Teaching in senior highschool construction principle application means. At the same time, alsopointed out that although the constructivism theory to the EnglishReading Teaching in senior middle school has positive effect, but todeal with specific issues and based on the actual situation to make thecorresponding change and choice.
