There are more and more research and practice on writing indomestic and foreign primary schools and junior high schools, butmaneuverability is not strong. The results of various studies show that theform of traditional correction and feedback about writing in junior highschool is extremely inefficient. So the author thinks it is imminent toimprove the validity of English writing teaching through correction stagewith the classes of only about12students.This paper is based on constructivism theory, second languageacquisition, communicative approach theory and cognitivepsychology theory. With the help of the four techniques ofconferencing, face to face modification, the author dedicated to thestudy about modification stage during students’ writing process in juniormiddle school. In fact, teachers can help students who have difficultiesin writing in three ways by the modified compositions. This paper alsoprovides three kinds of correcting cases such as a teacher as theleading factor of correction, a higher-leveled student correction for thelower-leveled one and the lower-leveled student herself correction. Theauthor hopes that the situation of lower-leveled students can beimproved through improving the attitude and state of learningeffectively. From the correction of grammar, content and structure inthe process of writing, the author also aims to improve the ability ofwriting of lower-leveled students and even the whole level of the Englishteaching through the two-year process of helping her.Through the practice and the exploration on evaluation andfeedback of students’ compositions, teacher’s conferencing during theprocess of students’ writing can play a certain role, especially using theface to face skills and strategies to correct the compositions of thelower-leveled students.
