In this paper, by folklore analysis of the historical development and contemporary practice of the fishermen’s clan in Weishan Lake of south Shandong province, to further explore the internal structure and characteristics of the North China clan, trying to show the cultural inheritance and variation of the contemporary social clan, in order to understand the impact in recent years of Chinese society transformation on rural society.The differences in the production environment which made fishermen in the long-term survival and development form the customs and clan traditions different from the land-based residents. As core content of the fishermen’s culture, fishermen are in the universal belief of the ’LaoZu’, which is a complex belief system including ancestors and all kinds of gods.This belief constitutes fishermen’s clan culture as a form of annual Spring Festival of respecting ancestors and five or ten years for renewal of genealogy ceremony.Paper is divided into six parts, the introduction of the topic of the article explain simple origin and research methods, and with the present study related academic history made a brief review; The first chapter presents the survey of the site history and geographical situation, village fishermen’s customs and the clan context, and common LaoZu faith; The second chapter from the point of view of collective memory a detailed analysis on the fishermen ancestor-worship celebration of Chinese New Year process and meaning; The third through the local rules and the renewal of the present situation and the genealogy ceremony to a reading of contemporary fishermen rheological families of the construction of order; The fourth chapter from traditional beliefs and two new religious to discuss their families in the present practice of the impact of the face; The last part of epilogue is proved weishan lake, then the clan of the fishermen activities in practice and their ethnic identity of significance.This study aims to through to the activities of the clan fishermen weishan lake area is introduced and interpretation, to show their north China in contemporary China dramatic social change the morphological and practice, and for their families in northern China provides a detailed case study of the field data.
