Theory Of Ideological And Political Education Graduate Professional Character Cultivation

Along with the social economy development and the improvement of talent requirements, the cultivation of university students’ vocational character has become one of the outstanding problems of higher education, currently. In order to promote the cultivation of vocational character for the ideological and political education graduates, the author analyses previous study of the vocational character education, the Marxism theory of human’s comprehensive development,the party and national leaders’ requirements of the ideological and political workers’ professional character, and other related theories. For conducting further research, the author sends questionnaires and interviews the ideological and political education graduate students from three representative universities of Hunan province.Through the investigation and analysis, the paper points out the main problems of current vocational character cultivation of the ideological and political education graduates. Firstly, there are blind areas in discipline construction for vocational character cultivation of the ideological and political education graduates; secondly, universities haven’t paid enough attention to the vocational character cultivation of the ideological and political education graduates, and their education concepts fall behind; thirdly, graduate students’ understanding of vocational character cultivation is still simple and they line underpowered. In order to solve these problems, we should firstly pay attention to theoretical education in the classroom, and cultivate excellent teachers; secondly, update the concept of vocational character cultivation, and construct campus culture; thirdly, use the advantage of the major of ideological and political education to build up "the third class" and carry out group counseling; finally, strengthen the graduate students’ self-education and development education.The paper aims at exploring ways to solve problems existing in current vocational character cultivation of the ideological and political education graduates, so as to improve the effect of vocational character cultivation for the ideological and political education graduates, to promote the development of the career for ideological and political education graduates, to strengthen the construction of the ideological and political work team, and to promote the construction of the socialist harmonious society.
