Class size is an important factor in effecting the teaching process and its quality. Along with the promotion of our college enrollment of leading the higher education into popularization and the expanding of college class scale continually cause serious problems in college teaching quality decline. Understanding the current situation of college class size, in-depth analysis of the class scale cause and effect, to extract the control class scale measures, to ensure the college not because of the scale expansion and quality decline is very necessary and pressing, has the important theoretic and practical significance.The investigation from class sizes in7representative universities in a province:a survey on the status quot of college class size from the overall situation, a large scale university classes, class size is65.91people. From the province of different types of universities, university courses, different situation, different types of classes scale from small to large newly-built colleges are:, and, University, Science. Different universities from big to small, the class sizes are:F school, E, C, D,, school, G school. Different types of universities from China, different universities, compared different course, different types of Universities between class size there is very significant difference between different universities, the class size in the vast majority of existence extremely remarkable difference, different course between the class size most existence extremely remarkable difference.The class scale cause:modern teaching technology to improve, in classroom, college enrollment expanding, increasing state of insufficient investment in higher education, college too much to chase the benefits of running a school. The impact of too big class is mainly reflected in two aspects:teachers and students on students’learning environment, learning attitude, on the impact on the academic performance of students to teachers’ teaching effect; the effect of the teaching process, the influence of teachers, teaching content and teaching method of the effect. From a national perspective we can take the following measures:establishment the correct concept of education, implementation of education laws and regulations, increase in investment in higher education; colleges and universities from the perspective we can take the following measures:the putting of the school, the adherence and implement of the national education, enrichment in the school education teaching resources.
