With the advocate of lifelong learning, various forms of training become efficient paths to promote lifelong learning. Because of the development and popularization of computer network technology, it becomes an indispensable tool for work, study and communication. In this environment, the idea of using network for training is growing.Activity theory is a theory of research different forms of human practice. It analyses human activities abstractly and in-depth, and it provides a theoretical support to human for understanding their own activities. As one of the activity forms, study can be analyzed deeply from an activity theory view. And we have a better understanding of learning activities. Network training means students studying on the internet with a computer, so the learning environment has a huge transformation and the roles of students are changed. Therefore, analyzing the learning activities of network training through activity theory can help us grasp the essence of network learning activities and give us a support of designing the platform and framing the training scheme. And from the view of activity theory, our research team designs the function module of training platform and training content.The research methods of this study are literature research, questionnaire survey, case analyzes method and so on.First of all, this paper researched thesis about network training and activity theory, where the thesis of activity theory are mainly in English. Through literature research, summarize existing research ideas and arguments and the ideas and principles of activity theory. Based on the reading and researching of recent literature about the concept of Web2.0, summarize the advanced technology and concept. Through the reading of journals, digital materials, books and so on, this paper collected many valuable knowledge.Secondly, based on the questionnaire survey, this paper summed up the basic information, their requirements of network training and the opinions and suggestions of training method, training content, and assessment way of the network training. Thirdly, based on the activity theory and the analysis of previous questionnaires, we design the functional module of the network training platform and apply the community element of Web2.0to the platform. Using VS2005, SQL2005development tools to realize modules like student theme-group, interactive video evaluation, and personal space. These modules reflect the contradiction idea and community idea of activity theory, and "user participation"," people-oriented" ideas of Web2.0. Take White Board Training for example, we designed training content, training programs of electronic white board training. And we have given it a trial in limited areas. The result indicates that the. training system has improved the students’ discussion passion and study enthusiasm. In a way, the system improves the students’ learning efficiency.Finally, with the summary innovations of the study, this paper puts forward some deficiencies and problems, and determines the future direction of this research.
