Traditional children’s books are often for the normal children, while the amblyopicchildren with defective visual function are not appropriate for. Designing books whichcan training children’s binocular vision and improve their learning ability is a researchdirection in ophthalmology and studying science.Design a suitable binocular vision function training books for amblyopic children,according to cognitive learning theory and child psychological characteristics andcombined with training in visual function principle. The text of the books composed bythe red and blue colors, the crowding of text books is smaller than normal congestion,the spacing and font size of the book are bigger than the traditional books, the words inevery layout are less than the traditional books. So the books are more suitable forvisually impaired children. When the children are training, they need to wear red andblue glasses. And in order to increase children’s interest and the training effect, thebooks combine perceptual learning and children’s interested elements. The books alsoconsider other factors such as fatigue. Finally, put the books into clinical application, amonth of training data shows that the books improve binocular vision function and theirlearn ability in some extent, and it provide an effective way to improve binocular visionin amblyopic children and the learning ability. Throughout this study, we mainlyworked in the following areas:1.The paper reviews the methods of binocular vision training research status, andanalysis the importance of binocular vision training books, and raised the contents ofthis thesis with the background of the subject, and the overall framework.2.Propose the books size, layout and font spacing words according to the medical principle of binocular vision training and reference of national standard GB/T18358-2009page size and primary and secondary school textbooks and the amblyopicchildren text crowding general requirements, and separated their eyes by red and blueglasses. Through cognitive learning theory construct the binocular vision training forchildren pre-book training, children and children’s binocular vision binocular visiontraining in book the content of the feedback exercise and self-evaluation system.3.Put the completed the children’s books in clinical training of binocular vision,and analyze the clinical results. Make statistical analysis of five subjects of clinicaltraining in a month results (corrected distance visual acuity, fusion point,three-dimensional visual acuity, reading acuity, reading rate), the training effects aresignificant differences, the results show that: training books improve binocular visionand learning ability in some extent.
