In June2^nd2010, The accociation of American Governor and the Chief educationaloffical of America issued the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, the purposeof this standard is to solve the disconnected,lack of focus of the American mathematicalcourse which is the wide-range focus without deep concerm about the problems. And byestablishing a national course standard,it tries to solve the problem of different standardsof each state. And this thesis is the research of Common Core State Standards forMathematics.In this thesis, it looks back the history of the revolution of American mathematicalcourse, and from this recollection, we can see the changes of the educational perception ofAmerican mathematics, and this is also the basis of this mathematical course reform, andwill introduce the content standard and the practice standard of Common Core StateStandards for Mathematics.And in this thesis, it will compare the Common Core StateStandards for Mathematics with NCTM standard2000",and compare with the standard ofChinese mathematical course.NCTM standard2000is one of the course that with wide influence, the main point ofthis research is to compare Common Core State Standards for Mathematics with NCTMstandard2000,and find out their similarity and difference.TO compare and study the standard course of America and that of China, and findout their similarities and the differnces, and their advantages and disadvantages, and alsoto find out the shortfalls of Chinese course standard, and come up with relevantrecommendations. And hope these recommendations will help the on going mathematicalcourse reform.This research is concluded from the historical progress, current research’s situation,and fundamental content of American mathematical course, and compare the AmericanCommon Core State Standards for Mathematics and Standard2000with Chinesemathematical course’s standard, and come up with the conclusion and revelation, andfind out the points which the Chinese mathematical course standard can learn from.
