Standard-based curriculum reform has become the global wave of education reform.The United States released the Common Core State Standards(CCSS)in June 2010,which marks a breakthrough and means the standard-based education reform has made a great progress.The CCSS include the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics(CCSSM)and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts&Literacy in History/Social Studies,Science,and Technical Subjects(CCSSELA).Early childhood education in the United States has always been at the forefront of the world,pursuing high quality teaching has become common sense in American society."By other's faults,wise men correct their own".America's exploration and practice of kindergartens'curriculum standards give us important references for China's preschool education development.This study adapted interview,historic analysis and comparative analysis,addresses areas such as background,developing process,implementation of CCSS,the contents and characteristics of kindergartens of CCSS.Then puts forward some relevant suggestions to China with national conditions.There are four sections:The first part is introduction and mainly introduces the origin of question,research significance,defines related terms,briefly reviews current researches and research methods.The second part is the background of released CCSS and American kindergartens.Mainly introduces the background information on economic and cultural needs,American society pursue equality in education,and education standards movements.The developing process of CCSS and implementation are discussed in this section.The third part is the analysis of CCSS of kindergartens.It mainly introduces from four aspects:frames,contents of CCSSM and CCSSELA,assessment projects consistent with CCSS,and the characteristics of CCSS of kindergartens.The fourth part is the reflection caused by the study of CCSS of kindergartens.First of all,thinking about the coordination and conflict between the Developmentally Appropriate Practice of NAEYC and CCSS.Then according to the current situation of preschool education in China,this paper puts forward some appropriate inspirations,such as clarifying curriculum standards for transition of kindergartens to primary schools,emphasizing the skills of reading and writing,developing the assessment projects consistent with standards and cultivating children's media skills.
