in the highly commercial and media-oriented social background, providingservice for the media has become an important part for the large sports organizationmanagement. Media service of competition Venues is the core of a large sports eventsmedia service operation management, whose scientific, reasonable and efficientoperation management is the basic successful assessment of large sports mediaservice, is also basic criteria of assessment of holding the large sports games.The study uses the methods of materials, expert interview,the ease analysis,in the spot investigation and empirical analysis. Taking the large sports games venuesmedia service as the research object, searching basis points of the theoretical studyfrom different areas, using the relevant research method, this paper expounds relatedconcepts of the large sports games venues media services, so as to provide sometheoretical basement for promoting construction and development of large sportsorganization and management and to provide valuable reference for the futurecompetition venues media service management. Research results are as follows:1. The media services, according to media needs which come to report the event,are that the organizers of major sports provide facilities and equipment for mediareporters to coordinate the professional services of the media. Event organization hasa further understanding of media services, by thinking, planning and optimizing theallocation of these resources elements such as human, financial, material, time,information, technology and management, and changes them into quality service.2. Large sports event is a special kind of social and cultural activities. Eventorganization’s providing service for the media has very strong environmentaldependence: in different social systems and cultural background and marketenvironment, competition for the media organization has some difference in providingservice. The institutional and organizational environment of the major sports eventmanagement affect from different aspects the way of media services’ supplying andoperational management.3. Media Services is the abstract of a hundred years experience in sports eventsorganizations. It reflects the respect of the organizers of the large-scale sports eventsto the media. When the organizers provide the media for media services, they alsoneed to manage the reporters, because the quality of its management is directly relatedto the work efficiency of the reporter. It is an guarantee of efficient media services todevelop a unified standard operating policy and strictly enforce the media to abide bybefore the game. 4. Reasonable supply of media services includes human resources andcompetition venues and infrastructure planning. The media services team has multiplefunctions, which can not be separated from the media services team goal formulation,the media services team training, duties and privileges of the media services team andthe plan of how to implement media services. The VMCs and other infrastructure ofcompetition venues are the support facilities of media services. VMCs of competitionvenues should pay more attention to the location and line planning and decoration etc.5. Because of its specificity, measuring objectively to large sports venues mediaservice quality has certain difficulty. Combined with the experience of the past mediaservices, a high level of media quality of service is beyond the media satisfaction withservices and event organization, through strict monitoring of the media serviceprocesses, improves the satisfaction of the media on the quality of service.
