| The Modern Age is an open, inclusive and rapidly expanding “information age".With the constantly change of computer science, this new technology tool, togetherwith the later network which attached to it is beginning to lead the development of thesociety, so that information can be created, communicated and spread quickly.Accompanying with the progress of modern network and information technology andthe development and popularization of the Internet, the modern social networkingtools, which were composed of Instant Messaging Tools (IM)(including QQ, MSN,micro blogging, micro letters etc.) and Social Networking Service Platform (SNS)(such as Facebook, Renren, Kaixin etc.), become to be the products of the times. Itprovides not only new ways of interpersonal communication, which accelerates thespeed of contact, reduces the cost of communication and improves the efficiency ofcommunication, but also extends interpersonal communication from familiar groupswhich we contact each other frequently to the remote, unfamiliar groups which haveweak ties. As college students have become one of the major receivers and users ofthe modern social networking tools, social networking tool has irreplaceably becomean essential tool in their daily interactions. It overcomes the traditional interpersonalconstraints of time and space, expanding their communication spaces and means,which have greatly changed people’s cognition, behavior and emotion. However, insome cases, it makes their interpersonal relationships in their real life more alienatedand indirect, so that students’ practical communication skills are declined, and inpsychology they perform more lone and indifferent. That is to say it makes theseemingly closer interpersonal relationship under the influence of the Internet actually more and more indifferent and aloof. Therefore, researching social networking toolson college students’ interpersonal relationship has important practical significance,and also should be more and more widespread concerned.Nowadays the theoretical study of students’ communication on network mainlyconcentrated on the network society characteristics, the influence of the network onhuman life, the network of social ethics and the effects of the new media and otheraspects. However, the study exerting to the influence of the social networking tool oncollege students’ interpersonal relationship has aroused widespread concern, but nosystematic in-depth study. In this text, questionnaire survey would be used to collectinformation and the sociology and statistical methods also are used to analyze theresults of the questionnaire so as to research the influence of networks social tools onall aspects of students’ communication.This article attempts to recognize and learn the position and function of themodern network social tools in university students’ lives from the perspective ofphilosophy of science and technology. Starting from the characteristics, developmentand the current network use situation of the social networking tools, this paperanalyzes the formation, development process, development trends and networkcontacts ethics of social networking tools, and through questionnaire survey,empirical analysis, theoretical research to explore the technology and social factorswhen social networking tools appear and the current network use situation science, toexpound Benign influence of the social networking tools, to analyze the collegestudents’ interpersonal relationship under the influence of social networking tools, tofigure out the negative aspects of the social networking tools, and finally to putforward the reasonableness and necessity of using social networking tools to build aharmonious interpersonal relationship in undergraduates. The practical significance isto build a positive relationship of each other and make the community, especially theideological and political education workers taking the positive advantages of thenetwork tools so as to guide students to use social networking tools in a correct,reasonable and appropriate way, cultivate university students`sound personality andgood psychological quality, make it a social tool to benefit students in their growth,success and harmonious feelings.The dissertation can be divided into five parts which is illustrated through thelogical thinking of finding problems, analyzing problems and solving problems.The first part is the introduction which presents the basis of choosing thisresearch subject, the literature review, the purpose, significance, methods and thinking of this research.The second part mainly introduces the conception and characteristics of modernsocial networking tools and the major social networking tools in China. This part alsoillustrates the formation, development, developmental trend and influential factors ofmodern social networking tools, network communicative ethics and interpersonalrelationship of college students.The third part illustrates the design of questionnaire. The author selects sevenuniversities to conduct sampling survey. The universities selected in this researchinclude universities attached to the ministry and province and higher vocational andspecialized colleges in terms of comprehensive, electronics, technology, finance,normal category and medical science which includes the discipline of philosophy,economics, law science, pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering,agriculture, medical science, management science and art. According to the statisticsof questionnaire, the author analyzes the current situation of college students’ usage ofmodern social networking tools from the aspects of using scope, selection, usingpurpose, using frequency, using methods, using psychology of social networking toolsand the comparison of depth between social networking and the practicalinterpersonal communication.The fourth part analyzes the modern social networking tools’ positive andnegative influence on college students’ interpersonal relationship through the methodof empirical analysis according to the results of questionnaire. With the results of theanalysis, it can be proved that the modern social networking tools is good for collegestudents to express their feelings, to realize their equal and free interpersonalcommunication, to establish broader interpersonal relationship and to develop theirability of interpersonal communication. However, the modern social networking toolsalso bring the negative influence to college students’ interpersonal relationship. Themodern social networking tools can cause difficulty, crisis of confidence, indifferenceand alienation in college students’ practical interpersonal communication. It willcause online love affairs at random which influences college students’ point of viewon love affairs and making friends.The fifth part analyzes the countermeasures and suggestions of constructingcollege students’ harmonious interpersonal relationship. Firstly, perfecting the lawsrelated to the social networking, popularizing college students’ knowledge of law andconstructing harmonious environment of social networking. Secondly, enhancing themanagement and support of government, promoting the real name system of social networking and cultivating college students’ credit consciousness. Thirdly,establishing college students’ moral ideas and rules of social networking. Fourthly,enhancing the management and education of college students’ social networking andguiding college students to establish correct points of view on practical and networkinterpersonal communication. Fifthly, harmonizing the practical and networkinterpersonal communication and strengthening the self-discipline consciousness ofcollege students’ social networking. |
