With the enrollment of2008students, university ushered in the first large-scale "’90’Students, they have been gradually replaced by"80"after the University of mainstreamgroups. They went through China’s rapid economic growth and social change, with thegradual improvement of the socialist market economic system, their thinking and behavior inthe early days of college students,"60","70" and even "80" compared great changes, theemergence of new qualities and endowments. Correct understanding of the educationalobjects and educational environment, timely and accurate comprehensive mastery of the newcharacteristics of the "’90’college students, both to strengthen and improve ideological andpolitical education is important and urgent task, but also enhance the effectiveness ofideological and political education and targeted need.’60’Students’’90’Students’ thinking and behavior characteristics study for the object. First the use of questionnaires, field interviews and group discussion, ten universities in Chengduto investigate the location, the ’90’Students in the ideals and beliefs, civic virtue, values, patriotism and consumer behavior, love, behavior, employment behavior and leisure aspects of theinvestigation and analysis. Secondly, changes in the characteristics of the students thinking and behavior characteristics of the "’60’college students" and "’90’ Students’ thinking and behavior between the two compared to the Analysis of reform and opening up30years. The sametime, in the face of these changes, I proposed the idea of Improving Ideological and PoliticalEducation. I believe that by actively build a new platform for the exchange of teachers and students, to strengthen the network of cultural construction, deepen the reform of the ideologicaland political theory teaching, and to strengthen students’ social practice and other measures can enhance the closeness of the Ideological and Political Education, timeliness, targeted ideological and political education work with the times and reality.
