With the college physical education teachingcontinuously reform and innovation, the training object’s comprehensive qualityof the growing, college physical education teaching from education idea isneeded to further change, improve education way to ensure that theimprovement of teaching effect, teaching goal. The study in the United StatesSPARK based on the study of the course teaching, combining with thetraditional table tennis teaching in universities in China way to Chengduinstitute of technology of profession of table tennis elective level2010twoclasses of students for experimental subjects, and using the teaching experiment,the literature material method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis andquestionnaire investigation method to make teaching experiment research, therandom sampling group to the experimental group and control group objectsinto the experiment, the experimental group in combination with SPARKcourse teaching mode teaching under, the control group by traditional tabletennis teaching model of public course teaching, the experimental group andcontrol group in teaching conditions are the same circumstances, according tothe requirements of teaching experiment. Through the comparative analysisresearch and data processing, and draw the following conclusion:1. The SPARK course combines the table tennis teaching, more than thetraditional table tennis teaching students actively participate in table tennisenthusiasm, to develop good study habits,74%of the students like SPARKcourse teaching mode in study and exercise.2. The SPARK course combines the traditional teaching mode and tabletennis teaching, to improve the students’ table tennis scores have obvious effect,but the technical assessment found by contrast, used in table tennis teachingcourse combines the SPARK of experimental group’s sports results better thancontrol group of sports results.3. The SPARK course combines the table tennis teaching and traditionalteaching mode, to improve the students’ physical quality has obvious effect, butthrough the inspection found contrast, used in table tennis teaching coursecombines the SPARK of experimental group’s physical quality scores higherthan those in the control group body quality grades. 4. Through the survey feedback and experimental data analysis shows that,SPARK course combines the table tennis teaching, is advantageous in raises thestudent good social relationships and team consciousness, can properly dealwith the relationship of cooperation and competition, strengthen socialadaptation ability, be helpful for lifelong physical education idea formation,accord with the modem society for talents and meet the needs of the students’self development needs.
