Along with the national new curriculum standard implementation, a kind of new teaching mode has been produced in Donglu middle school called draft lecture. Since2000, more and more high schools have adopted the draft lecture mode. Moreover, the schools have benefit a lot from the new mode. Draft lecture is a mixture of teaching plan, teaching, notes, and homework, test and review exercises in one whole paper. The biggest different about draft lecture mode is paying special emphasis on the preparation stage, learning before teaching, as to consolidate the knowledge in class. The students are considered as the principal parts in the draft lecture model, their initiative and enthusiasm on study are emphasized in this model. It is also in accordance with the needs of new curriculum reform and is broadly accepted and welcomed by both the middle school students and teachers. The Chinese middle schools have conscientiously put into effect the new curriculum reform, and the draft lecture model has greatly contribute to the significant transformation of the specific standard. The author was participated in this innovative teaching method during the practice teaching in Shenzhen Gongming experimental middle school in2011. This article was based on the data, investigation and observation collected during the practice teaching period. Draft lecture mode can be summarized as" advanced preparation, planning lesson on duty, modifying together, upgrading Ideological Controversy, teachers and students sharing".This thesis contains five parts. The first part introduces the research background, research purpose and significance, and puts forward the research problem. The second part is literature review, which mainly discuss the theoretical basis relevant to draft lecture mode. The third part introduces the draft lecture mode and its theoretical basis. The first part mainly includes the draft lecture, and implementation about the requirements, principles, and process, followed by an analysis of the theoretical basis of the mode of draft lecture. The fourth part introduces the survey at Gongming experimental school junior middle school English draft lecture. Different approaches such as questionnaire method, interview, chart analysis has been adopted in Gongming experimental school including grade eight and grade about the English draft lecture modes. The fifth part is the conclusion part. Firstly, Point out the advantages and disadvantages of draft lecture mode, and give relevant suggestions to Gongming experimental school for improvement.
