Since reform is developed, our country comprehensive national power increasesceaselessly, the country continue to attach importance to the construction of socialistspiritual civilization.Chinese folk sports culture contains rich connotation of thehuman spirit, is the national sports culture representative, is the Chinesecharacteristic socialism spiritual civilization construction important contentof.Nowadays people must reconsider traditional folk sports culture value, in the fullforward and rationality on the basis of innovation, retention of Chinese traditionalsports culture, advance with the times, a distinctive feature of the new culture toattract people’s attention, establishment of folk traditional sports culture developmentsystem.The rural school is China’s basic education main body, is to fulfil "science andeducation to rejuvenate the nation" the strategy of the main battlefield.Rural middleschool is an important part of education, is an important part of schooleducation."Sports Eleven Five Plan" the countryside sports development as the toppriority, rural school physical education has become China’s sports undertakings andthe basis for the development of strategic focus.In2001the national Ministry ofEducation issued "sports and healthy curriculum standard" point out clearly, sportsand health curriculum should focus on the development and utilization of folktraditional sports resources, its finishing, into the school sports teaching, to enhancestudents’ understanding of national traditional sports culture and pride.With a new round of the reform of sports and health courses as a turning point, to the countrysideschool sports as a platform, develop energetically and develop folk sportscurriculum, not only for the countryside school sports provide valuable curriculumresources, rich in rural school physical education teaching content, improve the ruralschool physical education teaching situation, at the same time the students bynational traditional sports the influence of culture, improve students’ traditionalculture protection and inheritance of consciousness, train students "lifelong physicalculture" in modern sports thought.This paper mainly uses the literature material law, on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire, expert interviews and other methods, to Suizhou city folk sportsdevelopment characteristics and content of the folk sports in Suizhou City, the ruralmiddle school in the current situation survey, and survey data analysis, combinedwith the local rural school in Suizhou city middle school in the countryside folksports development present situation investigation and analysis in actual situation,analyzing the influence factors for development of folk sports in Suizhou, that city ofrural middle schools and the positive countermeasures.Research results show that:The first, Suizhou city folk sports project is mainly to traditional folk sportsand local characteristics of folk sports items, according to the characteristics of folksports are classified as competitive, recreational, fitness classes, performances,festivals etc..Its overall development mainly characterized as: universal, mass,versatility, adaptability, ornamental, local and other.Second, in rural schools of Suizhou folk sports development present situation:physical education teacher, students on the folk sports understanding degree, valuejudgment and the folk sports attitude and cognition is good on the whole, as the folksports into rural schools under the school lay some foundation; Suizhou city ruralsecondary school physical education teachers’ Folk sports skills and learning stylenot identical, main application and extracurricular sports and PE teaching; ruralmiddle schools in Suizhou, students participate in folk sports channels are mainlyoutside the free tissue, their participation in the folk sports to simple, massesfoundation of good projects, such as: rubber band skipping, rope skipping, kickingthe shuttlecock etc.;.Suizhou city rural secondary school physical education teachers,students in the "two control" in the folk sports items with higher attitude, folk sportsproject development and promotion provide wider space.Third,Effects of folk sports in rural schools of Suizhou to carry out the mainfactors:(a) social factors: the transformation of social economy development; sociallifestyle changes; school physical education platform contempt; traditional nationalculture protection and inheritance consciousness;(two) local factors: local ruraltraditional restriction of school physical education in rural middle school; sports of less investment, sports teaching resources allocation difference; rural school sportscurriculum unreasonable settings; folk sports curriculum resources development isinsufficient; lack of folk sports curriculum resources for education managementmechanism.According to the above investigation and analysis in rural schools of Suizhoufolk sports development countermeasure for: the transformation of school physicaleducation idea, optimize rural school physical education environment; strengthennational traditional culture propaganda, improve the protection of ethnic traditionalculture consciousness; strengthen the sports teachers team construction, theestablishment of folk physical education teaching materials and methods of training;the importance of folk sports curriculum resource development; to create a goodclass, extracurricular sports in folk culture; establishing normative folk sportscurriculum resources development and the management mechanism.
