The Ministry of Education(2011)promulgated the "Sports and Health Curriculum Standards" and mentioned that physical education and health courses should pay attention to the development and use of folk traditional sports resources,and better develop them in school sports,so as to enhance teachers and students' understanding of folk sports culture.To promote and protect awareness.The content of folk sports is relatively rich in rural areas and can be closely connected with students' study and life.Rural sports play an active role in promoting the development of rural education.This thesis mainly adopts the methods of literature data,field investigation,questionnaire survey,expert interviews and mathematical statistics.It takes 465 students and 18 physical education teachers from 4 rural middle schools in Xianfeng County as the survey objects.Investigate and analyze the current situation of sports,and study the active countermeasures for folk sports in rural middle schools in Xianfeng County.Research indicates:(1)The classification of folk sports carried out by rural middle schools in Xianfeng County is roughly: four categories: athletics,leisure,fitness and performance;the current folk sports mainly include martial arts,hand-waving dance,tug-of-war,rope skipping,and spinning top.There are 16 items in total.The development of folk sports in rural middle schools in Xianfeng County is mainly physical classroom teaching,extracurricular sports activities,campus cultural activities,and sports competitions and performances.(2)The contingent of physical education teachers in rural middle schools in Xianfeng County is unbalanced: now the ratio of male and female teachers is quite different;the structure of professional titles is relatively low,mostly young and middle-aged teachers with junior professional titles.Both teachers and students in rural middle schools in Xianfeng County have a good understanding of folk sports.It is not very high,but teachers and students have a positive and supportive attitude towards the development of folk sports in school sports,and the students' love for folk sports is also very high.(3)As the leaders of rural middle schools in Xianfeng County did not pay much attention to the development of folk sports and the development of folk sports in other schools was not high,Gaoleshan Town Minority Middle School opened up a new path and formed its own characteristic folk sports.In sports,the school regularly organizes hand-waving dance and martial arts competitions.The campus sports games also have hand-waving dance,martial arts and tug-of-war competitions and performances.In addition,the school often participates in the martial arts and hand-waving dance skill competitions organized outside the school.Gao Leshan The effect of the folk sports project in the town's ethnic middle school is quite remarkable.(4)Rural middle schools in Xianfeng County are still relatively weak in inheriting and protecting the awareness of folk sports culture,and the atmosphere of folk sports culture is not strong enough.In order to better develop folk sports,schools should develop more diverse and rich folk sports,strengthen the training of teachers,increase professional training opportunities,form a more complete system of competitions or cultural activities,and enrich the sports content of rural schools.Starting from student interests,meeting the sports needs of teachers and students,cultivating students' awareness of protecting and inheriting folk sports culture,and adapting measures to local conditions will lay the foundation for the future development of folk sports in school sports.
