The well-designed worksheets method is a new teaching idea and method whichcomes out because of the new curriculum standard. It meets the needs of changingrural backward teaching conditions and reforming education. Learning-plan teachingmethod has been used in some big cities for a long time, but it is rare in rural area. Bydoing the survey in Qingxin County, Guangdong Province, it shows that most of thebiology teachers know little about and use little learning plan, but in fact, it is verypopular among rural students.After reading some relative literatures, the author found that learning-planteaching method has been widely used, but researchers overplay the function ofguidance and neglect the function of assistance. The well-designed worksheetsmethod is only used in maths now, but not biology. At the same time, they neglect theresearch in rural area and lack some scientific ways. So it is very necessary for us toview it from the point of rural area, emphasize the function of assistance, payattention to the left-behind children and use the method in biology teaching in juniorhigh school.This research takes the rural junior school in Qingxin County as an example. It isbased on Constructivism, Zone of proximal development, humanistic learning theoryand Companion mutual learning theory. It adopts circulation experiment method,questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics method,tries to construct themethodology, and discusses how to use it in biology teaching of rural junior schools.On the basis of literature review and the background research, this study proposesthat students in rural junior high school should know how to learn and have theability of self-regulated learning. The author has created the well-designedworksheets and learning model of the well-designed worksheets method. Choosingsome students of Grade7and Grade8in the author’s junior high school as theexperimental subjects,this method is used in teaching new biology lessons withcirculation contrast experiment teaching. It aims to explore the effectiveness of the method based on the biology teaching in rural junior high school. Through thequestionnaire and the interview after the experiment and the teaching achievementsduring the experiment, many empirical data are counted and analyzed. They showthat the method works well in the students’ biology learning in rural junior highschool. It can correct teachers and students’ attitudes towards biology, cultivatestudents’ self-regulated learning ability, realize effective teaching, and promote theimprovement of teachers’ teaching level. What’s more, this method pays moreattention to the effective education of left-behind children. This can enhance thecollective and attributive feeling of left-behind children and make them becomehealthy individuals.
