Quality education is a education ideal and one of the highest objectives after which present chinese teaching staff go. The fundamental aim of it is to elevate students’ essential quality roundly. Its mission is to foster talented man whose knowledge is more extensive and specialized compared with exam-oriented education.Biology education in junior high schools is not only a part of teaching system but also one of the necessary steps of education for all-round development. Influenced by various factors, biology education in junior high schools as a unconsidered subject is not paid more attention in actual teaching.Based on guideline of modern quality education thought and educational theory,author investigated students’ current situation of biology teaching at junior high schools in area of Taicang and studied corresponding countermeasure with questionnaire inquisition, interview, observation and so on in order to obtain real state from students and teachers, to analyse influencing factors of students` biology learning in junior high schools and to explore resolution of problem involved in biology education.Results in present study shows that main influencing factors of students` biology learning in junior high schools include learning interest, learning habit, learning method and so on which belong to nonintellectual factors and also include other factors such as teacher`s quality, teaching organizing, etc. Focused on factors mentioned above, author put forward a series of strategy or countermeasure, for example, establishing learning circumstance, organizing extracurricular activities related to biology, using conceptual graph for chapter review, improving teacher`s quality, emphasizing practice, enhancing cooperation between school and family,seting up learning atmosphere etc., which activate students` learning interest and improve teaching effectiveness.
