At present, countries of the world pay highly attentions to physical educationcourse reform. Today, those reforms have been proved to be effective and positive tosystem step by step. Furthermore, as the key-point to complete Chinese PEimplementation, which as well as the foundation of deepen university PE coursereform, summarizing related researches from domestic and aboard, analyzing andfinally giving solutions seems more necessary. The provincial capital of GuangdongProvince, Guangzhou City, with many well-known colleges and universities whichresponsible for most of regional high-quality personnel training, should go in theforefront of the reform. As the College PE courses being an important andindispensable part of the implementation of public sports programs, Guangzhoushould continue to a deepen reformation, to standardize this part of the public sportsprograms, make use of the thinking of the modern college sports to the innovation ofpublic sports programs; and to find the modern sports teaching road which suits to thecurrent trend, also adapts to the characteristics of the new century college sportsimplementation.By combing a number of literatures, through a sample survey in somerepresentational high school, targeting the implementation of public sports programs,content selection and arrangement, course setting, teaching organizationimplementation, students’ cognition and other basic aspects of specific analysis, theauthor analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the Guangzhou City College sportscourse implementation,and put forward recommendations for improving in allusion tosome problems, and provide some useful lessons to enrich college sports coursetheory, and to promote the college sports course reform and to some extent.
