The participation of mathematical mechanization made a great promotion for the integration ofinformation course and mathematics and add vitality to the development of modern teachingtechnology. The use of information technology in teaching enriched the content of mathematicalmechanization. And the union of the two is tigher and tigher. Plane geometry is a difficulty in juniorhigh school teaching. Geometry study is a key turning point for the ability development of junior highschool students. The math study in junior high school has big difference with that in primary school andhas greater demand in logical thinking ability. The increase of difficulty makes some students has a fearfeeling towords math study, especially in rural junior high school, how to increase students’ interest tomath and cultivate students’ math research ability is a big difficulty for teachers. Education softwareassisting instruction can be a good assistant for teaching. Information technology has a big effect onteachers’ teaching and students’ study. Super Sketchpad is designed for the Chinese basic education.Automated reasoning capability which is one of the important functions has a veryimportant role in geometric proofs and the study of its application can be a good instructor assistinginstruction, especially in raising questions, it can break the tradition and raise some new questions.While using it, students can do inquiry learning to cultivate divergent thinking and logicalreasoning ability.At present the research in this area is still relatively small, therefore, the content ofthis article is to study from the following points:1, systematically introduces the functions andfeatures of Super Sketchpad automatic reasoning;2, studies teachers how to use automaticreasoning capability of Super Sketchpad to raise questions with the knowledge points to be checked;3, guides students to work out one problem in serveral ways to train students to do inquiry learning;4explores the effect of the automated reasoning capability of Super Sketchpad assisting instruction onstudents’ mathematical ability.
