| It has been widely accepted and supported by the majority of teachers to integrate the history of mathematics into the mathematics classroom. Presented in a variety of ways in middle school textbooks, reading, selective courses and monographic studies, the core value of maths history is to arouse interest of students so as to improve the efficiency of class.Paying close attention to the educational value of maths history, presenting the discovery and development process of maths knowledge and enabling students to grasp the origin and cause of it are effective approaches to establishing "efficient class".Mathematics education can absorb nourishment from the history of mathematics to enrich the learning and teaching. Nevertheless, due to the lack of support of information technology, some of the history of mathematics which is of educational value can not be adopted in mathematics classroom teaching despite the fact that it can be used as preparation materials.In the current background of educational reform of our country, with the mathematics curriculum reform going on, a large number of theories on the intergration begin to emerge supported by Information Technology, the new theoretical results also beginning to be a world concern.In the current educational environment, The history of maths oriented to education has been regarded as an effective way to explore the reform of mathematics curriculum with the support of IT.The Super Sketchpad is a teaching software with various functions and easy to learn.In addition to the function of Dynamic Geometry, it supports nearly all the functions of CAI and CAL needed by middle and primary schools, such as symbolic computation,geometric reasoning and simple programming.In the past 20 years, it has got recognition of more an more teachers and scholars who recognize the huge role Super Sketchpad can play in teaching and more and more teachers as well as works are becoming known. With the use of Super Sketchpad introducing maths history into teaching,the boring maths classes have become vivid and atmosphere loose.In the meantime, students have become eager and autonomous in learning. The text consists of the following four parts.The first part:introduction. This paper mainly discusses the research background, research situation at home and abroad, researchcontent, research objectives, research value, research methods and key issues.The second part:literature research. This part mainly discusses the necessity of introducing the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching, its theoretical basis and methods and how to use the Super Sketchpad to realize it.The third part:HPM case teaching. This part mainly shows the HPM teaching case of the author developed with the Super Sketchpad in postgraduate period.The fourth part:Conclusion.This part is mainly concerned with some of my thoughts and wishes.I hope that my research can enable more teachers to seize the significance of maths history in teaching,as well as master the ways of developing some HPM teaching cases with information technology,providing some convenience for their teaching. |
