BehaviorMentally disabled children because of intelligence is affectedby the internal factors,(from brain development of obstructionto senior psychological function of defects) and external (socialfamily) various adverse condition the influence, mentallydisabled children will produce such as anxiety, depression andmanic, etc. Various kinds of emotional problems, that they can’teffectively to understand other people’s awareness, emotions andexpression, also cannot reasonably to express their emotions andfeelings. Thus, they can in living and studying necessary andreasonable with others, even contacts the communication ofemotional problems caused frustration caused behavior such asoffensive or self-injury.According to statistics, China’s current intellectualdisabilities more than1300million, there are about500millionof them are children, although about mentally disabled children’seducation research got outstanding achievement, but so far,mentally disabled children’s emotional problems haven’t causepeople to pay enough attention to the corresponding research andtreatment practice is very deficient. This study adopts themethods and means of music therapy of a mentally disabled school retarded children, emotional intervention study. Experimentsshow that music therapy can effectively improve the mentallydisabled children’s mood disorders.Music therapy is music therapists use all sorts of music meansor treat objects through participated in some form of musicexperience activities, to improve mood, remove the psychologicalproblems, and promote the healthy development of psychologicala method. Music therapy with its unique emotion regulation andleft, the mechanism of action of right brain coordinationactivities for special children, spiritual and psychologicalproblems can produce language and what medical difficult toachieve results. Through music and the emotion of the innatecontact and music on the powerful influence of emotion musictherapy can direct action, in human emotion world and unconscious.Music therapy in the professional, provided a protected, safetyof psychological field, individual, in a series of supportive andinteractive music activities, understanding group environmentorder and interactions, and learn to make reasonable mood realitystimulation reaction, release tension at the same time,experience positive emotions and feelings and learn natural toexpress themselves demand, and in the process of the cognitiveand improve self evaluation. The effect of mentally disabledchildren equally effective, professional and targeted musictherapy, can make the mentally disabled children get adjustment,the bad mood, and can effectively train orthodontic its positive emotions and feelings literacy, promote its psychology and thebehavior of rationality.Taking with mood disorders retarded children as the researchobject, in the mentally disabled children and music therapy comband related theory, on the basis of the discussion with musictreatment for empirical intervention study. Five test through themusic therapy for six months after training, their mood andbehavior has made great changes, especially in the cognitive andemotional aspects of expression and control obviously improved.This experimental proof: music therapy to light, moderateretarded children’s bad mood has adjust and improve the effect,can promote light, medium mentally disabled children positiveemotions development; And through the treatment of these children,and its bad behavior intervention occurrence frequency also havedifferent degrees of reduction, interpersonal skills can also getsome degree of improvement.Full text mainly includes four parts. The first part istheoretical research, mainly introduces mentally disabledchildren concept and connotation, mentally disabled thepsychological characteristics of children and emotionaldisorders performance characteristics and its causes andtreatment method, etc. The second part of the music therapy aremainly discussed the connotation, function mechanism, musictherapy method, and the music therapy special children’sprinciple and currently popular system theory orientation, for mentally disabled children mood music therapy interventionimplementation of relevant theories support do. The third partof the major reports of this research is to the psychology ofempirical research method of mentally disabled children, themusic therapy intervention study process and result, and theimplementation of this research process was reconsidered.
