The Experimental Research Of Throwing Skill On Mentally Retarded Children By Using Neurodevelopmental Therapy Teaching

Physical education is an important part of special school education. Views of theCPC Central Committee and the State Council on the promotion of the cause of thehandicapped strengthen special education development, promote the comprehensivedevelopment of people with disabilities, improve the system of rehabilitation for peoplewith disabilities and develop rehabilitation programs. The implementation of the TenthFive-Year sports plan for the disabled and the provisional regulations of specialeducation schools emphasize that in term of characteristics of the disabled, goodphysical education can not only enhances physical fitness and improves health ofstudents with disabilities, making develop their habits of physical training, butcontributes to correct the physical state of students with disabilities. Therefore, it plays asomewhat active role and is of hidden importance for students with disabilities toexpand the scope of their lives, to improve and restore limb disabled students inself-care and to develop their ability of participating in social activities, as well as theirperfect human nature and psychological function, etc.With the use of experimental method, mathematical statistics, logical analysis,interviews and other research methods the research probes the practical teaching effectsof neurodevelopmental therapy on teaching throwing skill for mentally retarded children,and the meaning of the therapy in the field of sports biomechanics. This study aims toprovide some theoretical foundations and practical references for rehabilitation andtraining of mentally retarded children’s throwing ability.Research results:1.Neurodevelopmental therapy is applied to the teaching of throwing skills formentally retarded children, which can help improve their throwing scores and accuracy. It is of positive significance in rehabilitation and training of mentally retarded children’sthrowing ability.2.In the aspect of sports biomechanics, the meaning of neurodevelopmentaltherapy which affects throwing movement skills teaching for mentally retarded childrenlies in the control and the training of throwing height, throwing angle and throwingspeed, and in the control and the training of trunk turning, the force order of upper limbjoint muscle and coordination of mentally retarded children, thus helping them establishbody feeling of the correct throwing movement and form the correct throwing motionskills.
