Because of the highly complex nature of national culture, human can live in thesame highly complex natural ecological environment, human use different culturalelements to adapt to the different elements of natural environment, and such a differentcultural elements can interspersed with each other to make the most steady-stateresponse with the certain environmental issues,or several cultural elements common tomake a comprehensive response to certain environmental issues. Departure from thislogic,it is not difficult to see,a single cultural elements does not exist in isolation in thenation’s cultural guidance system, while it must be closely linked to other culturalelements, affect the situation can moving the whole body. Therefore, through the deepinterpretation and analysis of a single cultural matters, we will get a glimpse of theoverall meaning of the national culture and characteristics. The cognition, disposal and use to manure is the experience which Yi and DongEthnic Group in their respective generations continuation and development, andconstantly explore, explore and construct, the experience is also a local ecologicalknowledge, technology and skill which highly adapted to their own naturalenvironment.I found in the fieldwork that Yi Ethnic Group villagers and Dong EthnicGroup villagers is different in positioning the value of the different livestock manure, but its ultimate goals are exactly the same, that is, the two nations have done the efficientuse of manure, play manure in the context of different natural ecosystems can provide avariety of functions, there is no merits and demerits in this issue. In Yi areas, the effectof manure that can be played not only like Dong regions, a simple crop fields as anutrient, it’s more important effect is that manure application crops insulation to fightthe attacks of the soil internal cold and atmospheric drought distress. The reason is thatthe Sheepfold Village is located in high altitude cold desert ecosystem, and the coldtemperatures, large fluctuations relative humidity fluctuations also great, there isgenerally high altitude above3000m section underground permafrost, thusThe manure isno longer here the functions fertilizer function in a general sense, the most importantthing is to play a warm function for early growth stages of crops.Different with theSheepfold Village, Huang Village is located in the subtropical mountain jungle with ahigh temperature, high humidity, there is no insulation for the crop, and how to veryeasily compacted soil tillage, the manure in addition to playfertilizer functions, additional functions must be considered.Meanwhile, the more important is how to slowdown in the case of manure due to the degradation of the excessive and lack of timelyuse, caused by the loss of the fields as a nutrient and crop root cause of the injury. As aresult, the great difference of the two nations in which the District elements of theecological environment, resulting in a variety of knowledge of the two nations on the manure, processing and storage was very different, showing a sharp contrast.Twonational culture needs to adapt to different environmental objects, made to adapt to theeffectiveness of each difference, these differences will be expressed in different culturalfacts. Differences through cultural expression, it is easy the other hand, both to adapt tothe effectiveness and means.Clearly, the use of manure is only one of the difference and common culturalexpressions between Yi Ethnic Group and Dong Ethnic Group, the experience is highlyadaptable to the natural and ecological background of their own. as It is only a verytiny part of the whole cultural system in the two nations. However, through the grasp ofthe two nations on the manure of the entire cognitive system, from the cultural matterwhich most likely to be ignored by human,we begin to explore the cultural essence ofthe Yi Ethnic Group and Dong Ethnic Group, that is, organic matter degradation rate ofthe twostrong contrast, a strong role in molding the national culture, which can besummarized as follows: Yi Ethnic Group culture is highly adapted to the ecologicalenvironment of the high altitude cold desert, the Dong Ethnic Group culture is also aresponse to the subtropical mountainous jungle with.
