The ideological and political education on college students must keep pace with thetimes. Guided by the view of scientific development, we should, based on the newfeatures of the ideological and political education on contemporary college students aswell as new demands with social development, explore new content for the education inthe new era. The “four-life education”, taking students’ lives, existence, and daily life ascontent, is a new education mode that completely embodies the idea,“human-orientation”, in the new era. This basic and simple education can help collegestudents set correct views on the world, life, and value, and make them qualified talentsneeded by the country and the society in the new era.The “four-life education” is the important part of the ideological and politicalEducation. It is the embodiment of the content of ideological and political education ofthe times. It reflects the ideological and political education the target concretion. It is theindividual function expansion. Strengthening the “four-life education” is the need ofsocial development. It reflects the scientific development idea. It is the need ofcontemporary university student health growth. It is a necessary requirement for socialharmony.The “four-life education” is a kind of new idea and practice of education. It reflectsthe educational essence and educational intrinsic regular in the whole process ofeducation practice. It is people-oriented, comprehensive, systematic education. The“four-life education” means life education, survival education, the live education andecological education.This paper is composed of six parts:.The first part introduces the article to choose a background, significance, domesticand foreign literature review, the research content and research method.The second part of "four-life" education of ideological and political education inmodern the position and role of the introduction. Through the research found that the"four-life" education is constructs harmonious social the objective demand of thecontemporary college students’ healthy growth of need, is the concrete embodiment ofimplementing the scientific concept of development, the ideological and politicaleducation is the embodiment of the target.The third part introduces four born the scientific connotation of education, as wellas the theory foundation, at the same time of its characteristics are briefly introduced.The fourth part introduced four education content born construction. And according to the contemporary college students’"four-life"education not ideal cause analysis, and put forward the corresponding analysis of thecauses.The sixth part to strengthen college students "four-life" education of countermeasures. This part of the content introduces strengthening "four-life" education theguiding principle. And on this basis, proposes strengthening "four-life" educationmulti-dimensional strategy.
