Social sports instructors as a social sport organizers, mentors, communicators,are playing its vital role in China’s sports development and sports industry, alsoexerting further influence into social, scientific, industrial, and institutionalization,directly affecting the quality of sports development in our society, depth and breadth.Through commonweal social sports instructors in Xi’an to investigate and study thepresent situation, to clarify further understanding of Xi’an commonweal social sportsinstructors present state, promote social sports instructors better for the public providefitness services.This article utilizes literature material, interview, questionnaire survey andmathematical statistics methods and other research methods, commonweal socialsports instructors in Xi’an basic condition, the guiding status, organization andmanagement of research and analysis.The results show that: Age structure has aging trend; male to female ratio isbasically rational, level of education is low; skill in the dominant type, occupationuneven distribution of mostly retirees; hierarchical structure was “pyramid”, but asmaller proportion of high-level instructors; to guide short life, most less than10years, the number of weekly guide focused on between1to4times, each time theguidance focused on30to90minutes. The overall guiding rate is not high; guideplaces mainly in park square, enterprises and institutions to venues and communityactivity center; guide the project mainly aerobics dance, martial arts, sports, athleticsand other categories; volunteer service still holds larger proportion; guiding motive inthe first several major a physical fitness, disease prevention, social services andinterests; effects of Xi’an city social sports instructor factors ranked in the first severalare lack of funds, lack of site facilities and organization management mechanism isnot perfect.Xi’an commonweal social sports instructors for the present situation anddevelopment issues that exist about the responses: increased training, and improve thetraining content; well-organized management system and operation mechanism;increase the incentive mechanism; refined commonweal social sports instructorscategories; to expand advocacy intensity.
