The appearance of the theory of Multiple Intelligence drew the most attention of theEducational world. The theory of Multiple Intelligence was immediately applied to thelanguage teaching by many countries. In the current Senior High English teaching, because ofthe pressure for the tests and inexplicit target for English teaching, many teachers unilaterallypay attention on the training of students’ English knowledge and language skills in dailyteaching. Therefore, these activities gradually lead the students into the situation of losing ofinteresting and confidence in English Learning. And that had a negative effect on Englishteaching.This study was based on the author’s specific study in high school, it concludes theadvantages and disadvantages of intelligent module of our Senior English Teaching and thedesign of teaching programs combined with experience through the analysis of the Englishteaching book in the Experimental Middle School, of the research in the Englishextracurricular activities and of the students’ capability of the reading, speaking, writing andacknowledge of English Culture. The author made a curriculum design aimed at parts ofWelcome to unit and reading in Oxford English text book of senior high school, according tothe specific situation in Experimental Curriculum Design. Before the experiment, the authorwould assess the English proficiency of the two classes through the comparison to fix thecomparability. Then, according to the design of classroom and extracurricular activities, theauthor would give the lectures to the class for3months. After the teaching, the author wouldgive the experimental class and the control class a post-test, and get the result of experimentby the measurement between the pre-test and post-test: Through this experiment teaching, theEnglish achievements in the experiment class have been effectively improved, and theeffectiveness of the design of the experiment teaching have got the affirmation.This research was mainly about our High school English teaching under the guide ofmultiple intelligence theory. The research found that our classroom teaching is partial to thelinguistic intelligence and mathematic logic intelligence. The teacher should pay attention todevelopment of all the intelligences. Furthermore, our English teaching should combine theextracurricular activities with the classroom teaching. The extracurricular activities could facilitate the classroom teaching, which contributes to the development of all the intelligences.At the last, the author gave some teaching advices in order to contribute the EnglishEducation with the other educational workers.
