The Research On The General Quality Of College Students Based On The Theory About The Overall Development Of Human Being

The ultimate goal of human and social development is man’s all-rounddevelopment,which runs through human and social progress.From its birth to today,theissue has experienced a long historical process,with leading representatives in each stageholding different point of view.Domestic and foreign research scholars have never stoppedstudying the issue,many of whom wrote some oustanding theory works and papers.At thecrucial stage of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and a well-off society in anall-round way,the basic target of the quality-oriented education is to improve overallquality of Chinese people,especially the socialist successors—contemporary collegestudents. It is also the practical application and popularization of Marx’s theory of"all-round development of man".Based on Marx’s theory,this article analyses the historicalbackground, forming process,nature and connotation and practice conditions,and revealsbasic contents and realistic significance of Marx’s theory of "all-round development ofman".In our course of study,we took contemporary college students’ overall qualitycomponents as the core.Through surveys and analysis on ideological and moral quality,scientific and cultural quality, mental health quality and innovative quality,theysummarized the existing problems of contemporary college students’ overall quality andput forward corresponding measures to improve the quality-oriented education inuniversities to combine Marx’s theory with contemporary quality-oriented education onuniversities,apply theory to practice and improve contemporary college students’ overallquality as well as all-round quality development of all Chinese people finally.
