As the world’s high suicide rate,the problem of suicide has become an unavoidablesocial problems. The study shows that suicide ranked first in cause of death in the youngpopulation, high school students as suicide susceptible populations has been the concernof the majority of experts and scholars,also there are many of the related research.Because social work is a new career in recent years in China, so there are a few researchof suicide in high school students from the perspective of the social workers. This articleaimed at studying the suicide of high school students from the perspective of the schoolsocial worker, exploring the idea of working on students with a suicide crisis, and thepromotion of the value of the work pattern to protect life and reduce suicidal behaviors inthis part of the students.The research carried out in an ordinary high school of Shenzhen City, mainly inguidance of avoid-self theory. The research used the case work method, from theintervention on two clients who have suicide ideas, integrated system resources of theclient and family also school to form a joint force for solving the problems.Social workers should adhere to the Lord of the case on the environment to analyzethe high school students with suicidal tendencies case, work in the perspective of thesystem, and improve the environments to promote the solution of the main problems. Inthe processing of cases, insist on the core of clients and work with clients. Besides thecasework method, other methods can also be supplemented, such as group work, and so on.The use of practical skills should also be paid attention. In addition, it is important to notethat the Lord of the case with the suicide crisis may have non-rational cognitive thought,to consider that death is the only way to solve problems or their emotion in long-termdepression status. Therefore, it is necessary to work on them with rational emotive therapy.As the method of the use of rational emotive therapy, Social workers can let the clientsrecord mood diary on the basis of mastering the theory of rational emotive therapy, andhelp them to refute their non-rational cognitive way of thought. So social workers can helpthe clients to establish a rational cognitive thinking, and promote the solve of the mainproblems. Inadequacy of the study is that because of the lack of knowledge and skills in familywork, a little work was done on the client families, and more emphasis are focused on theimprovement of parent-child relationship and few on the relationship between husbandand wife. While in real life, the marital relationship is important for the clients to feel thefamily atmosphere and to solve the problems. Therefore, the next step of the workemphasis is to learn family relationships counseling treatment, enhancing my ability todeal with the family problems through learning and training.
