The Study On The Communication Strategy To Improve The Science Literacy Of Blind Juveniles Of Shanghai

Science Literacy is an important component of citizen accomplishment. The juvenilesare rated as one of the key crowd according to Outline of Action Plan for NationwideScience Literacy, which was issued by the State Council in2006. Outline points out thatwe should enhance the overall science literacy of the whole people through promoting thescience literacy of the key crowd. Blind juveniles belong to the vulnerable groups insociety as well as the key crowd who will be popularized science. Although we don’t haveany design of the science literacy-promoting for this crowd. In theoretical research aspect,we haven’t performed special research in this field. Therefore, the research how topromote the blind juveniles’ science literacy has the groundbreaking social significanceand theory value.Based on the viewpoint of developing communication theory, this thesis regards theblind juveniles as the study object. It will build the system of scientific communication forthe blind juveniles in Shanghai and analyze the activity level of communication, thesuitability of content through the field investigation, depth interview and case analysis. Onthis foundation, the article puts forward the strategic recommendation on the scientificcommunication for the blind juveniles in Shanghai. Innovation of this thesis embodies intwo aspects: first, this article is of the certain innovation about the research perspectivebased on the development of communication theory; second, this article makes up for thelack of communication research on the important field which has faced the science literacy-promoting of the blind juveniles for a long time. Besides, on the basis of gathering up theexisting communication system, this article brings forward the recommendation of thecommunication strategy on the promoting the blind juveniles’ science literacy under thecondition of the vigorous development of interactive media.
