Research Into The Sustainable Culture Development In Nanjing High School

In this paper, survey research method, experience summary and logical analysis,document method were used to put forward a set of operational model for carrying outculture research in senior high schools. The research was done on the basis of thesummary and creation of the present school culture in the new campus in Nanjing HighSchool, Jiangsu Province. At the same time, the author also analysed and studied schoolculture at home and abroad. The purpose of the research is to improve the actual effecton the construction of school culture, to increase school brand, as well as to explore anew practical operating model through school culture research development in thinkingaspect.In this study there were three parts. In part one, depending on the deep thoughtabout the problems existing in the present school culture construction, the authorexpounded the background and significance of putting forward the sustainabledevelopment of the case study in Nanjing High School, and summarized something indomestic and international relevant fields. In part two, the study provided theunderstanding of the construction of school culture in Nanjing High School from thefollowing four aspects. Aspect one: the unique material culture involving the overviewof the school, school buildings and digital campus. Aspect two: the analysis on thesystem of the institutional culture from its contents,function and the opetation. Aspectthree: behaviour culture involving both teachers and students. Aspect four: the studyintroduced the development of school-based curriculum in NanJing High School and itscurrently-achieved goals. In part three, a new idea was put forward that the feature ofthe NanJing culture construction should be focused on promoting teachers’ professionaldevelopment and students’ overall development,as well as the school-based curriculumdevelopment and construction.
