With the development of society, urbanization and industrialization of the worldhave accelerated, people have enough material conditions so that they can live incomfort, all above these bring children sufficient and novel toys. Folk games whichdiffuse fine traditional cultures of ethnic minorities have being fading out of people’sview, away from the children’s lives. Folk game as a part of china folk culturalheritages is paid more and more attention in recent years. Folk games play an importantrole in kindergarten not only for passing on the folk culture but also for promotingchildren’s growth and implementing kindergarten curriculum.This study take Guandu Kindergarten as a case study, carry out fieldinvestigation into the current situation of the folk games in implementing in thekindergarten by methods of observation, interview, questionnaire, document analysis.The current situation include the follows: Firstly, the leaders of kindergarten payingfull attention to folk games ensure them carry out normalization andinstitutionalization. Secondly, for the kindergarten implementing folk games, teachersand parents are holding a supportive view, and they are fully understand folk games’value. Thirdly, the kindergarten always follows scientific and rational principle tocollecting and selecting folk games, and then collecting them by many ways, itconcluded teachers, parents and social enthusiasts. Fourthly, the types of folk gameswhich carry out in Guandu Kindergarten are4. Fifthly, the environment for folkgames has planned perfect on the basis of safety, healthy and strong style folk culture.Finally, the current situation of integration between folk games and kindergarten’seducation activities.On the basis of the previous analysis, the dissertation analysis the values andproblems of Guandu Kindergarten carries out folk games, the author gain deeperinsight into folk games, make further efforts to put forward consideration andsuggestion in the aspects of selecting and adapting folk games, treasure entertainmentfeatures of folk games, cooperating carry out folk games among classes and grades in kindergarten, setting goals for children’s development in folk games, constructingkindergarten’s folk games curriculum. The consideration and suggestion provide somereference for implementing the folk games in kindergarten.
