With the further urbanization, reform and opening-up, People broke the restriction ofthe household registration system gradually. It leads to unprecedented population movementsand population migration. Data of sixth nationwide population census shows that there is amobile people of every six people, and young people is becoming the main force of mobilepeople.Although young people is the main force of mobile people, many old people leavehometown with their children, and forms "a big army of old people who migrate with others",because of fierce competition, aging of population, Chinese endowment way, family ethicsand family structure in modern society.These old people who migrate with others don’t get extensive attention of the society,however, doing research on the elders is urgent. They migrate with others, then many wayswill change differently. So how is their integration in new community, and what’s theinfluencing factors?In order to know of these problems, the writer used qualitative research to interview25old people who migrated with others in the community of Huazhong University of Scienceand Technology. At the same time, the writer collected information by other two ways. Italso analyzes the integration and influencing factors of old people who migrate with othersin view of these information.This findings show that part of economy and culture adaptation is high, but some of the twoadaptation is low. The society integration shows that the old people know each other, but theyaren’t familiar mutually and forms "Semi-stranger society". At last, psychology integration ofalmost all old people who migrate with others is low.The influencing factors show some characteristics that the population features of theseold people affect the integration sparingly. And the main affecting factors are thecharacteristics of family and their subjective initiative.
