With the development of China's urbanization and aging, the number of aging population and one-child families is increasing day by day. More and more elderly people flow into the city where their children live. The offsite pension of the old people who migrate with others is an increasingly prominent phenomenon and needs attention urgently. It's related to the elderly individual's choice of life style and pension manner, the changing attitude towards pension among the aged, the design of system and measures towards aging and urbanization on different levels of nation, community and family.Based on the theory of welfare pluralism, this study made a comprehensive research about the offsite pension willing of the old people who migrate with others, the supporting status from individual, family, community, market and state, social adaptation, the need for care service and the choice for future pension manner, using the method of semi-structured interview and typical case study. Further, the study summarized the problems they faced in aspects of offsite supporting, care service and social adaptation, then put forward corresponding countermeasures from the respective of welfare pluralism. The research shows that: In terms of pension support, the old people who migrate with others are overall satisfied with the support from family and state while the satisfaction for community support is relatively low. In regard to social adaptation, the active old people perform better than the passive ones and those from city perform better than those from rural. With respect to service content, they show high demand for spiritual comfort. For the subjects of responsibility, their expectation for government and family is much higher than community, and they show little concern to the market service. As to the pension manner, the family pension mode is still the most ideal one for the old people whomigrate with others, and the home-based care gains little concern from the migrants.Further, the active migrants tend to stay in Wuhan for their later life while the passive ones are inclined to return their hometown.
